Tipping Point gala the pinnacle of success

Tipping Point Community's annual gala drew Bay Area civic and business leaders, with Mick McGuire serving as an event co-chair alongside Christina Guevara. Founder Daniel Lurie used the evening to announce a new Tipping Point initiative on chronic homelessness and mental illness in San Francisco, and a single live auction lot — a Warriors playoff package — brought in $160,000. The Chronicle piece also covers Compass Family Services' Spring Benefit, a Tipping Point grantee that raised $466,000.
